thinking about what it means to build a life when the ground keeps shifting under me. when the news cycle is just an endless scroll of raids and fear and people like me being treated like we don't belong in the only home we've ever known.
but even in all that unease, there’s a stubborn flame. because sometimes you can't do anything except put the feeling somewhere. that exhausted, defeated, dystopian weight of watching the bad guys win. but also, the unyielding belief that we endure. that we're still here, still cool, still standing in the wet city long after the ice melts.
